A Scalify session with an AI agent working on a large screen

AI agents that do the work, not just talk about it.

An AI agent does not just answer a question, it carries out the job: reads the enquiry, prepares the quote, chases the follow-up, books the work in. We build them for Australian businesses, we call them AI teams, and you own every one we build.

What is an AI agent, in plain terms?

An AI agent is software that carries out a whole job on its own, not just answers questions about it. Give it a goal, such as answer this enquiry and prepare the quote, and it does the steps, works inside your systems, and hands anything unusual to a person.

That last part matters. A chatbot waits for a question. An agent is given responsibility for a job, the way you would brief a new office hire: here is how we quote, here is our price list, come to me if something is odd. The difference shows up at five o'clock, when the agent has sent the quotes, chased the invoices and booked the jobs, and nobody typed any of it.

What is the difference between an AI agent, a chatbot and an automation?

A chatbot answers questions. An automation runs one fixed job the same way every time. An AI agent works towards a goal, handles the steps in between, and copes when the job varies, handing anything that needs judgement to a person. Most businesses end up using a mix.

Why do we call them AI teams?

Because one agent alone rarely runs a whole function. In real businesses we put several to work together, one answering, one quoting, one chasing, one scheduling, passing work between each other the way an office team does. We call that an AI team, because that is exactly how it behaves.

The test of an AI agent is not how clever the demo looks. It is whether the quote went out, the booking landed in the calendar, and a person could see and change every step.

What can AI agents run in a business like yours?

The office work that follows patterns: quoting, bookings, follow-ups and the admin pile. We build them for specific industries too: mining services, plant hire and real estate, around how each one actually works.

The proof is in businesses you can look at. At Shimicoat, two people run a seven-figure industrial coatings business because agents handle the office work behind them. At Better Looking Shutters, a WA manufacturer doubled revenue on the same admin team and took around $250,000 of admin cost out. Named businesses, real photos, numbers their owners stand behind. We build every agent in Perth, from our base in Ardross, and put them to work for businesses across WA and the rest of Australia.

Where do AI agents not help yet?

Anywhere judgement, relationships or safety calls are the actual job. An agent should not negotiate your key contract, manage a difficult customer or sign off on safety. And if a job is genuinely different every single time, an agent will frustrate you. We will tell you that up front, because a wrong build costs everyone.

Do you own the AI agents we build?

Yes. You own everything we build. Fixed price or monthly, no lock-in. Plenty of providers rent you an agent platform and hold the keys. We build on your systems, hand you everything, and you choose whether to keep us around. That is the arrangement we would want, so it is the one we offer.

How we build it

One job, scoped end to end, with guardrails and human checkpoints from day one.

We scope one job, end to end

We pick the single job with the fastest payback, quoting is a common first, and map every step from the enquiry arriving to the work being booked. That map decides what the agent handles and what stays with your people.

We set the guardrails

Before the agent touches anything real, it gets rules: your price list, your limits, what it may send, and exactly when it must stop and ask. It cannot act outside them.

Human checkpoints stay in

Early on, a person checks the agent's work before it goes out. As the agent proves itself, you choose which checks to keep. You can see everything it does, change how it works, or stop it at any time.

We prove it, then add the next

Once the numbers show the first agent is paying for itself, we add the next one, until the whole function runs as an AI team. You own all of it.

Common questions

Is a person always in control?

Yes. A person can see everything an agent does, change how it works, or stop it at any time. Anything unusual or needing judgement is handed to your team with the details already gathered. It never runs off on its own.

How long does it take to build one?

The first working agent is typically live in weeks, not months. We start with the single job that pays back fastest, prove it, then add the next, so you see value early instead of waiting for a big project to finish.

What does it cost?

A fixed price agreed before we start, or a monthly arrangement, with no lock-in. The number depends on the job, and we only build what will pay for itself, which is what the first honest look at your business works out.

Which systems can an AI agent work with?

The ones you already run. Most builds connect to MYOB, Xero and Microsoft 365, along with the industry systems behind your quoting, bookings and scheduling. We build around what you have, not the other way around.

What happens to our data?

Client data stays in your own systems and accounts. We build on OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft models under business terms, which means your data is not used to train public models. The full detail is on our security page.

Does this work at 50 or 500 staff?

Yes. A quoting desk inside a 300-person company is still a five-person team, so the job looks the same up close. We pilot in one department, prove the number, then expand from there.
