Privacy policy
This explains what personal information Scalify collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.

The short version
We only collect the information you give us or that we need to run the site. We use it to reply to you and to provide our services. We do not sell it, and we do not share it except with the trusted providers that help us run the business. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
Who we are

What we collect
We collect personal information in a few simple ways:
- When you contact us. If you use our contact form, email us or call, we collect what you choose to share, such as your name, business, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry.
- When you use the site. Like most websites, our host may record basic technical information such as your device type and general location, to keep the site secure and working. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read; there is more on this below.
- When we work together. During a project, we collect the information we need to do the work, which we handle under the terms we agree with you.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to provide and improve our services, to send you things you have asked for, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not use it for anything you would not reasonably expect.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it out, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else can see it
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business, such as our website host and our email and business software. They only handle your information to provide their service to us, and they are bound to keep it secure. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
AI systems and your data
Scalify builds AI systems on models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft and Google, used under their business terms. Under those terms, client data is not used to train public models. We also build systems so that client data stays in the client's own accounts and systems wherever possible. The full picture of how we handle data is on our security page.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are read and how people find us. That means Google processes some technical data, including IP-level data, on our behalf. We do not build advertising audiences from it, and we do not use it to identify you personally. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Where your information goes overseas
This website is hosted on infrastructure that may process data in the United States (our host is Vercel), and analytics data is processed by Google. The AI model providers named above process data under their business terms, which may involve processing outside Australia. Where information is handled this way, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is treated in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it or the law requires. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we treat your information with care.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it where we are able. Just email hello@scalify.au and we will help. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
The law this follows
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
