Two Scalify team members reviewing a chat assistant on a laptop

AI chatbots and voice assistants that finish the task.

A normal chatbot answers a question and stops. Ours go further. They make the booking, update the record and answer the call, then hand anything unusual to a person. Your customers get help, not a dead end.

What is an AI chatbot or voice assistant?

It is a chatbot or voice assistant that talks to your customers, by message or on the phone, and actually completes the task they came for. It can answer a question, but it can also book the appointment, update the record or pass the right details to your team, rather than just pointing the customer somewhere else.

Most people have used a chatbot that felt like a wall: it repeats a script, cannot do the one thing you asked, and eventually tells you to call during business hours. That is not what this is. The aim is an assistant that gets the customer to the finish line, whether that is a booking made, a question answered from your own information, or a message that reaches the right person. It plugs into the systems you already run: your website and phone line up front, your calendar, and platforms like Microsoft 365, MYOB and Xero behind them.

How is this different from a normal chatbot?

Most chatbots only answer questions from a script, and hand the customer off the moment anything real needs doing. Ours finish the job. If a customer wants to book, it books. If they want to change something, it changes it. And when a request genuinely needs a person, it passes it on with the details already gathered.

That difference is the whole point. A chatbot that only answers questions moves the work to your inbox. One that finishes the task takes the work off your plate entirely, and only involves your team when it should.

What your customer wants, and what the assistant does
What your customer wantsWhat the assistant does
To book a timeBooks it straight into your calendar
To ask a questionAnswers accurately from your own information
To change a detailUpdates the record for them
To reach you after hoursAnswers, handles it, or takes the message for your team
A chatbot that only answers questions just moves the work to your inbox. One that finishes the task is the difference between a busy line and a booked job.

How we build it

We start from your real conversations, not a script.

We read your real conversations

We go through the enquiries, calls and messages your team already handles, because the transcripts show exactly what customers ask and how they ask it. The assistant is designed around that, not around a guess.

We design the conversation

The tone matches how your business actually talks, the answers come from your own information, and every conversation is built to end with the task done: booked, updated or passed on.

We set the escalation rules

We agree exactly when the assistant hands to a person: complaints, unusual requests, and anyone who simply asks for a human. The handover carries the details, so nobody repeats themselves.

We teach it the next task

Once the first task is proving itself, we add the next, and the next. You can read every conversation along the way, and you own all of it.

Will it annoy my customers?

It should do the opposite. The point is faster, more accurate help at any hour, with a person stepping in the moment a request needs one. A good assistant answers quickly, gets things right, and never leaves a customer stuck in a loop, which is exactly what a bad chatbot does.

Where does chat and voice work best?

Anywhere customers ask the same things and want the same simple actions, bookings, questions and changes, day and night. We built exactly this for PSG Plant Hire, where customers now book machinery online at any hour and an AI team handles the quoting and scheduling behind it.

At Shimicoat, an AI team handles support for a two-person business: around 70% of routine enquiries are handled end to end by the AI team, and anything unusual still reaches a person.

If your phone and inbox fill with the same requests, and customers give up when your office is closed, this is the gap it closes. That holds at 50 staff or 500: a front desk inside a big company is still a small team, so we pilot one channel, prove it, then expand.

We design and build every assistant in Perth and run them for businesses right across Australia. The first step is working out which questions and tasks to hand over.

Common questions

Can it handle both phone calls and messages?

Yes. We build for whichever channels your customers use, whether that is your website chat, messages or the phone, so they get the same help wherever they reach you.

What about the questions it cannot answer?

Those go to a person. The assistant handles the routine requests and hands anything unusual to your team, with the details already gathered, so nothing is dropped.

Do I own the assistant you build?

Yes. Everything we build belongs to your business. You are never renting your own systems or locked into us to keep them running.

What happens to our data?

Client data stays in your own systems and accounts. We build on OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft models under business terms, which means your data is not used to train public models. The full detail is on our security page.
