A Scalify AI consultant advising a Perth business owner at her laptop

An AI consultant in Perth who tells you where AI is worth it, and where it isn't.

There is a lot of noise about AI and very little about whether it is worth your money. We cut through it. We look at how your business runs, find where AI would genuinely save time or money, put a figure on it, and give you a clear plan, in plain language. And you deal with the consultant who does the work, not a salesperson.

What does an AI consultant actually do?

We look at how your business runs, find the jobs where AI would genuinely save time or money, work out what each is worth in dollars and hours, and give you a clear plan and price. No jargon, no hype. Just an honest read on what is worth doing and what is not.

Most business owners we meet know AI could help them somewhere. They just cannot tell where, or whether it would pay off, and everyone selling it has a reason to say yes. Our job is to give you the answer you would give yourself if you had the time and the technical knowledge: here is where it is worth it, here is what it is worth, and here is where it is not. It is AI consulting Perth companies can act on straight away, run from our office in Ardross for clients across Australia.

How do you decide what is worth doing?

We follow the time and the money, not the hype. If a job is repetitive, costs real hours and happens the same way most of the time, it is a candidate. If AI would not clearly pay for itself, we say so. You get a ranked list of what is worth automating, with a number against each, rather than a wish list.

That means some of what we tell you will be no. A job that is cheap already, or too varied to automate well, or better left to a person, we will flag as exactly that. The value is in knowing where to spend and, just as importantly, where not to.

What you walk away with
What you getWhat it means
An honest look at your businessWhere your team's time and money actually go
The jobs worth automating, rankedWhat to do first, second and later
A figure against each oneWhat each is worth in time and money
A clear plan and priceExactly what it would take to do it
We would rather tell you AI is not worth it for a job than sell you something that does not pay for itself. That honesty is the whole point of the exercise.
Kristian, Director, Scalify

The consultant
you actually get.

Scalify's consulting is led by Kristian Njegovanovic, its director. Kristian has been building software and automation for WA businesses since 2019, and he leads every engagement himself: the first conversation, the review, the plan. Senior engineers come in behind him when a build begins, but the thinking is his, and the person who scopes your work is the person who stands behind it.

That matters because AI advice is easy to sell and hard to stand behind. At a big consultancy you meet a partner and get a graduate. At most agencies you meet a salesperson and get a ticket queue. Here, the consultant you meet on day one is the one who does the work, and the one you call when you need a straight answer. He is on LinkedIn, and so is Scalify.

How it works

It starts with a conversation, not a contract.

A conversation

We start with a straight, twenty-minute conversation about your business and where the work piles up. No pitch, and no cost.

A closer look

If it is worth going further, we take a proper look at how your business runs and where AI would genuinely earn its place.

The plan

You get a clear, ranked plan with a figure against each opportunity and a price to do it, all in plain language.

Your call

You decide what happens next. Build it with us, build it yourself, or simply keep the plan. There is no obligation.

Why hire a local AI consultant in Perth?

Because the useful part of consulting happens in your building. We walk the floor, sit with the people doing the work, and watch where the hours actually go, in the same room and the same time zone. Advice from two time zones away tends to stay generic, and generic advice is the last thing you need with AI.

A lot of the AI consulting sold to Perth businesses runs from the east coast: a Sydney or Melbourne firm with a Perth page on its website, a fly-in visit if you are lucky, and support on eastern states hours. We are based in Ardross and work with businesses across the metro area, from Fremantle to Joondalup and out to the industrial suburbs where our clients actually operate. We know WA's economy because it is where our systems run: mining services, plant hire, manufacturing, real estate and the offices around them. Clients elsewhere in Australia get the same directness over a screen.

Start with an AI Readiness Review

Most clients begin with a fixed-scope first engagement we call the AI Readiness Review. It takes a few weeks, works across the systems you already run, MYOB, Xero, Microsoft 365 and the rest, and you walk away with:

  • a ranked map of AI opportunities in your business, with the dollar value on each
  • a data and risk review: what is usable, what needs care, and how we handle it, set out on our security page
  • a pilot plan for the first 90 days
  • a draft AI usage policy your staff can actually follow

Discovery first, then a pilot, then rollout. At 50 staff or 500 the shape is the same: we pilot one department, prove the number, then expand. If you would rather start smaller and faster, our AI audit does the first pass as a fixed half-day engagement. And if your board or executive team needs to get across AI before any of that starts, we run briefings for executives and boards as the first step.

What if AI is not right for us?

Then we will tell you. Plenty of jobs are cheaper or better left to people, and we say so plainly. You are paying us for an honest answer, not a sales pitch, and sometimes the honest answer is that a particular job is not worth automating yet.

Where does consulting lead?

To a plan you can act on. Every build we have done started here, with a clear-eyed look at where the time and money were going. Better Looking Shutters, for example, began with working out which office jobs were costing the most before we automated a single one.

The same is true of Shimicoat, JBP Consultancy and PSG Plant Hire: every one of them started as consulting, as a conversation about where the work was piling up. Whether you build it with us afterwards is entirely up to you. The thinking is yours to keep.

Common questions

How do you handle our data during a review?

Client data stays in your own systems and accounts. We build on OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft models under business terms, which means your data is not used to train public models. The full detail is on our security page.

How long does it take?

The first conversation is about twenty minutes. A closer look takes longer, but we keep it tight and focused on the jobs most likely to pay back.

What does an AI consultant cost in Perth?

The first conversation costs nothing. After that, everything is fixed scope and quoted up front, so you know the price before you commit anything. We would rather quote you honestly than meter you by the hour.

Are you tied to any AI vendors?

No. We build on OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft models under business terms and recommend whatever fits your systems best, which sometimes means recommending nothing at all. Nobody pays us to push their product.

How are you different from a big consultancy?

You deal with the director, not a rotating team. The advice is fixed price, written in plain language, and can be built by the same people who wrote it, so the plan never dies in a drawer.

Do you consult outside Perth?

Yes. Perth is home and most of our clients are in WA, but we run the same consulting engagements for businesses across Australia, remotely and onsite as needed.

Do we have to build with you afterwards?

No. The plan is yours to do with as you like. Most clients build with us because we have already done the thinking, but you are free to take the plan elsewhere or sit on it.

Not sure where AI would even help?

That is exactly where we start. Tell us how your business runs, and we will work out where AI is worth it, in plain language, with no pitch.
