ChatGPT training Perth: your own team, your own jobs, not a seat in a classroom.

Perth has no shortage of classroom ChatGPT courses, where people from ten different companies work through the same generic exercises. This is the other kind. A private workshop for your team only, at your office or our base in Ardross, built on the jobs your business actually does, and everyone leaves with a working Custom GPT of their own.

What does ChatGPT training in Perth look like when it is built on your own jobs?

It looks like a normal working day with a trainer in the room. Each person brings a job they actually do, quoting, bookings, the monthly report, supplier paperwork, and learns to hand the repetitive parts of it to ChatGPT properly. By the time the day ends, everyone has a working Custom GPT built on that job and the habit of using it.

That last part matters. Perth teams have sat through plenty of ChatGPT introductions, and most stop at awareness: people leave interested and change nothing. We run the workshop inside the work itself, so there is nothing to translate afterwards. The job your estimator practised on in the morning is the same job waiting on their desk tomorrow, except now part of it does itself. What the day itself covers is on our national ChatGPT training page; this page is about what changes when you run it here.

How is this different from a classroom ChatGPT course?

A classroom course puts people from a dozen different businesses through the same generic exercises. That is a reasonable way for one person to get a taste, and a poor way for a team to change how it works. Our workshops are private, your team only, built on your business's actual jobs, and everything built in the room stays with you.

The gap shows a week later. After a public course, someone comes back enthusiastic to a business that has not changed, holding notes about a fictional company. After a private workshop, the quoting assistant exists, the report drafter exists, and the whole team watched them get built. Nobody has to sell the idea internally, because the idea is already running.

Who is in the room?

Your people and nobody else. Groups run at six to twelve, big enough to cover a whole function, small enough that every person builds something. Because everyone in the room works for the same business, every example is a live one, and the gains spread across the team instead of leaving with one enthusiast.

Privacy changes the conversation too. In a room of strangers, nobody puts their real margins, their awkward clients or their messy spreadsheet on the screen. In a room of colleagues, that is exactly what goes up, and it is why the results are usable instead of hypothetical. If you are still comparing tools and formats, start at our AI training overview.

What do Perth businesses automate first with ChatGPT?

The paperwork that repeats. Quote follow-ups, supplier and prequalification forms, monthly reports assembled by hand, job write-ups and the emails that carry all of it. Those are the jobs Perth teams point at first in our workshops, because they are the jobs that quietly eat whole afternoons.

The pattern holds across the businesses we work with: equipment yards, property offices, construction and mining services firms, and the professional offices around them. The work is not exotic, it is volume. One person's follow-up emails, templated. One team's monthly stats, drafted from the raw numbers. If you would rather have those jobs built for you than taught, that is our admin automation service. And if your office runs on Microsoft 365, read about our Copilot training before you choose.

What proof is there this works in WA?

Two named Perth businesses, not case studies from another market. General Crane Services WA trained with us, and their own staff went on to build an AI quoting system, which we then secured and moved onto Azure. A quote that took days now goes out in minutes. Stop Renting Perth had their team trained and now runs part of their admin on automation.

Both stories are written up in full: General Crane Services WA and Stop Renting Perth. The crane story is worth reading before any ChatGPT workshop, because it shows the ceiling: training is not the end of the road, it is the point where your own people start building.

Where and how does it run?

Half-day or full-day, at your office anywhere in Perth, at our base in Ardross, or live remote for teams elsewhere in Australia. The short IT checklist we send in advance gets accounts and sample material squared away, so the day itself is spent building rather than logging in.

One more thing worth knowing: we are independent. We do not resell ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude, and nobody pays us to recommend a tool. When we say ChatGPT fits your team, or that it does not, there is no commission behind the advice, and every workshop is priced as a fixed quote per team.

Common questions

Is this a public ChatGPT course in Perth we can book seats on?

No. We only run private workshops, one business at a time. Public courses where individuals book single seats do exist in Perth, and they are a fair way for one curious person to get started. When the goal is a whole team working differently by next week, a private day on your own jobs gets there faster.

Should the owner or manager sit in on the workshop?

If they can spare the day, it pays. A manager who watches the quoting assistant get built does not need it sold to them afterwards, and they count as one of the six to twelve like everyone else, building on a job of their own.

What happens to what our staff type into ChatGPT?

It stays inside your business workspace. On the business accounts the pre-workshop IT checklist sets up, nothing typed in is used to train public AI models. The day also covers plain rules for what should never be pasted into any AI tool, and our security page covers the detail.

What jobs should we bring to the workshop?

The repetitive ones you are mildly embarrassed still run by hand. Quote follow-ups, supplier forms, the monthly report, standard letters, job write-ups. If it repeats every week and follows a pattern, it is good material, and the pre-workshop checklist is where we approve the sample documents used on the day.

Our team already uses ChatGPT a bit. Is training still worth it?

Usually more so, not less. Light use tends to mean one or two enthusiasts asking quick questions while everyone else watches. The workshop turns that into a shared standard across the team: proper instructions, checked output, and a Custom GPT each that carries part of a real job from day one.

What is a Custom GPT, and do we keep it?

A Custom GPT is a reusable ChatGPT assistant set up for one specific job, with its own instructions and reference material. Each person builds one during the workshop, on a job of theirs. And yes, you keep it: it lives in your business account and keeps working long after we have packed up.

Should we do ChatGPT or Copilot training if we run Microsoft 365?

If your team spends the day inside Outlook, Word and Excel, Copilot training is often the better fit, because the AI sits inside those tools. Plenty of Microsoft 365 offices still pick ChatGPT for its flexibility, and some do both. Our ChatGPT vs Copilot vs Claude comparison lays out the trade in plain terms.

Want your Perth team trained on their own jobs, not someone else's examples?

Walk us through a normal week and we will shape the workshop around it, at your office anywhere in Perth or at ours in Ardross, with a fixed quote for your team up front.
